Travis Blackley

Travis Blackey (born November 4, 1982 in Melbourne, Australia) is the starting pitcher in the Seattle Mariners' farm system.

Blackley was signed as a free agent during 2000. The left hander was the 2003 Texas League pitcher of the year.

He was first called up to the majors at the end of the 2004 season. Following 2004 season Blackley suffered an arm injury and missed all of 2005.
Blackley spent most of 2006 at Double A San Antonio. Blackley was promoted to Triple A Tacoma at the end of August.
