  • International Companies Compete To Build Railway In Yemen (August 2005) - an official source said that representatives from several international companies have enquired about competing for a tender that is to be released soon. Construction of the railway project in Yemen is expected to begin later this year on a BOT basis. It has been suggested that this project will start from Harad, Saudi Arabia in the North to Aden in the South and then onto the borders of the Sultanate of Oman. [1]
