Transmitter Szczecin-Kolowo

Transmitter Szczecin-Kolowo is a facility for FM and TV situated at Szczecin-Kolowo in Poland at
. It uses as antenna tower a 267 metre tall guyed mast.Transmitter Szczecin-Kolowo is placed in Szeczin on summit of beech forest on extensive TV. Center has been returned for application in 1963 year. It consists from two antennae masts along with antennas on whole area of beech hill 267 m of height presenting characteristic point of reference, from distance of several kilometer perfectly visible and building of technical back. A tower was there already before world war II for observation. In 1963 a 228 metre tall mast was installed. Additional parabolic antenna has been installed in later years. In 1985 a new mast with a height of 267 m was built. (source: Polish text, please correct it)
