Transmitter Roumoules

The Transmitter Roumoules is the broadcasting facility for long-, medium and shortwave of RMC near Roumoules, France. The site is an exclave of Monaco and extraterritorial area. The transmitter Roumoules transmits on 216 kHz with 1200 kilowatts and on 1467 kHz with 1000 kilowatts. As aerial for the longwave transmitter a directional aerial with a maximum showing toward the centre of France is used. It consists of three 300 metre high guyed masts is used. There is also a 330 metre high guyed radio mast as spare aerial with omnidirectional characteristics. The aerial for the mediumwave transmitter is also extensive. It consists of 5 guyed masts with a height of 100 metres and it allows a change of beam directory.
