Transformer di Roboter is a Berlin -based Duo, making electronic pop music with a punk attitude. The Members are Alexander Kloster and Johannes Malfatti. They have been releasing Ep's and contributed to compilations on Labels such as WMF Records , Planet Mu, Deco, Diamondtraxx, Klangkrieg, L'Age D'Or.
In their cover version of Michael Jacksons "Stranger in Moscow", they used the Macintosh Startup Sound of Apple Computers, which was created by the former Apple sound designer Jim Reekes.
Transformer di Roboter work together with the Dutch Artist and VJ Arno Coenen.
Kloster and Malfatti are also involved in other, more experimental music projects, such as Chlorgeschlecht and Dånzen jetzt... Also member of Chlorgeschlecht and Dånzen jetzt... is Olivier Alary aka Ensemble . For their 2003 Chlorgeschlecht release "Unyoga", they received an Honorary Mention at the Ars Electronica in 2004.
