Trancoso (pron. IPA: [tɾɐ̃'kozu]) is a municipality in Portugal with a total area of 361.5 km² and a total population of 10,639 inhabitants.
The municipality is composed of 29 parishes, and is located in the District of Guarda.
The present Mayor is Júlio José Saraiva Sarmento, elected by the Social Democratic Party.
The municipal holiday is May 29.
