Traben-Trarbach

Traben-Trarbach is a town and a municipality in the district Bernkastel-Wittlich, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is situated on the river Moselle, approx. 15 km east of Wittlich and 5 km north-east of Bernkastel-Kues.

Traben-Trarbach is also the seat of the Verbandsgemeinde ("collective municipality") Traben-Trarbach, which consists of the following Ortsgemeinden ("local municipalities"):

  • Burg (Mosel)
  • Enkirch
  • Irmenach
  • Lötzbeuren
  • Starkenburg (Mosel)
  • Traben-Trarbach

The town is twinned with Wangen bei Olten in Switzerland.
