The City of Calgary does not employ "th" on the end of street names. For example, "17th Avenue" should be written "17 Avenue". This applies to all streets and avenues in the city. I suggest the page be corrected for this. -User:MazriM_TaiM

HOLD ON. Before you change anything, I'm afraid I have to disagree. The city does not use the "th" on road signs for simplicity. It clutters up signs. As a driver, visibility and legibility are far more important than grammar and language rules (obviously). However, when writing in the English language, it is ALWAYS proper to add the "th" or the "st" or the "rd" or whatever it may be. THAT is the way it is. The City of Calgary does not have the authority to change such conventions. --Arch26 04:48, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
