The "Transgender symbol" - widely used internationally by the transgender community. Examples 'TransGender Victoria' (Australia), 'TransGender Michigan' (USA).

The "Butterfly" - also widely used by internationally by the transgender community. Examples 'The Beaumont Society' (United Kingdom), 'TransGender San Francisco' (USA), 'Connecticut Outreach Society' (USA).

The "Transgender Pride flag" - used by the 'Transgender American Veterans Association'.

The "Yin and Yang symbol" - variations of the yin and yang symbol are also used. Examples 'International Foundation for Gender Education'.

[edit] Do not merge with LGBT pages

Transgender should not always be lumped in with Lesbian/Gay/Bi, as Transgender deals with GENDER identity (who you are) and NOT sexual identity (who you are attracted to). Let's keep them more separate. FtM's are men, and many are attracted to women, so that makes them straight, not gay, lesbian, bi. Same with MtF's. We need to be on our own.
