[edit] Please tell all those concerned to consider the feasibility to have a pedestrian/bicycle trail
http://www.accesstotheregionscore.com/whatWill.html explains why new highway tunnels are not good ideas, but there is one important issue missing. If you care, please tell all those concerned to consider the feasibility to have a pedestrian/bicycle trail built at the same time of the railroad tunnel, physically separated. Otherwise, traffic jams will never be solved. I have contacted that website, New Jersey Transit, the Port Authority of NY and NJ, and US Senator Chuck Schumer. New Jersey Transit has replied that my idea of having non-motorized access in the proposed THE Tunnel does not seem feasible, they have shared my suggestion with the appropriate departments for their review and consideration.--Jusjih 23:16, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
