[edit] Pronunciation
How do you pronounce his last name? Might be worthwhile to put this in the article. -Timvasquez 15:18, 5 August 2005 (UTC)
I'm European, this type of name would probably be "Buloo" i think...--Mole Man 04:41, 8 December 2005 (UTC)
It's an intersting phenomenon, really. While on the show, he insisted it was pronounced "Baloo" like the bear in "The Jungle Book", but when the movie came out, he was telling everyone to pronounce it "BOWL-you". An entire section could be written about this, really. -Jkazoo
- Jkazoo, do you have any reliable sources for either pronunciation? ~ Jeff Q (talk) 19:59, 8 August 2006 (UTC)

- In an interview with the fan newsletter "Crow's Nest", he confirms you pronounce it "Baloo", and on the review on "Siskel and Ebert", Ebert pronounced it "BOWL-you", a pronunciation Trace confirmed on a scifi.com chat. Jkazoo 21:13, 8 August 2006 (UTC)

- I couldn't find any good web reference to "Crow's Nest", but I rather doubt it would be considered a wiki-reliable source. Still, if you could provide information on how one might find this, it may be useful. If I'm right in thinking your reference to Siskel & Ebert is their circa April 20, 1996 review of Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie, I couldn't find the text of that review to properly source this information. The only Google-based source I found was booyaka's FAQ, which may be well known to MSTies but isn't exactly wiki-reliable, either. However, I'm sure we can dig up sources that would satisfy WP requirements. ~ Jeff Q (talk) 23:09, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
