User talk:TPK/Drafts/New user survey

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hi TPK! I have my own draft survey that I'd like to get a few thousand Wikipedians to fill out.

I think a good combination of on- and off- wiki is this:

Include a link (in welcome messages et al) to a protected survey-page with the survey questions. Invite people to fill it out and send it back, either leaving the results on a personal subpage, filling it out via a script on a third-party site (I would set one up for my own survey on my machine at school) or e-mailing it to [me, you, etc] via the "contact this user" link.

Then the results could be collated; there could be a "make these results public?" option so people could choose to have the results public if they reeally want it that way; and aggregate results could be published. +sj + 06:14, 3 Feb 2005 (UTC)
