The Toyota Pod was a concept car created by the Japanese automobile marque Toyota. The Pod was first shown at the 2001 Tokyo Motor Show. The Pod demonstrated its advanced technology with the fact that the Pod could "feel emotion".

The Pod was much like a living being with the many characteristics that have been programmed into it. It featured a screen inside, which can know how the driver is actually feeling and that gives him or her advice on better driving. On the exterior, the Pod can express its own feelings with colored LEDs and an antenna that wags, much like a dog's tail. It also features a device by Sony that is able to create background music and make lists for shopping. Basically, the Toyota Pod can actually grow with the driver since it is much like a living creature that feels emotions.
