Toyota 1HZ

The Toyota 1HZ is an engine developed by Toyota Motor Corporation for the Toyota Land Cruiser of 1991. It replaced the previous heavy duty engine which was being used by older Toyota Land Cruiser model. This engine generates more power and torque than other Toyota Land Cruiser engine ever. Although the advanced 1HD-FTE engine is being installed in current Toyota Land Cruiser production, the 1HZ is still being used under some custom configurations of Toyota Land Cruiser. A popular engine in the 80 series Land Cruiser.
