Toyo Engineering India Ltd., (TEIL), was established as an Indian organisation by Toyo Engineering Corp, Japan, (TEC), in 1976, with 50% shareholding by TEC, primarily to complement the activities of TEC in West Asia. This shareholding by TEC has now been enhanced to 74%.

Over the years, TEIL has grown into a major Engineering, Procurement and Construction company and today offers services to the Oil, Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, Fertiliser, Chemical, Polymers, Pharmaceuticals, Information Technology, and Power Plant sectors in India and elsewhere, both independently and in association with TEC.

TEIL is located in Mumbai (Bombay), India in a new generation premises with an office space of approx 10,000 m². TEIL has branch offices in Delhi and Abu Dhabi.
