- "Tower of Song" is also the name of a Leonard Cohen song first released on the I'm Your Man album
Tower of Song is a tribute album to Leonard Cohen, released in 1995 on A&M Records. Tower of Song features a largely mainstream mix of singers.
The album was savaged by many music critics, who pointed out that the album's glossy mainstream pop approach badly distorted the context of Cohen's music.[citation needed]
"Tower of Song" is also the name of a song by Cohen, that has been covered by Marianne Faithfull and The Jesus and Mary Chain.
