Toshiro Tsuchida

Toshiro Tsuchida is a director and producer for Square Enix. He is most notably credited for directing titles in the Front Mission series and was also the battle director for Final Fantasy X.
As battle director of Final Fantasy X, he pulled away the Active Time Battle, which started with Final Fantasy IV, replacing it with a more strategic battle system. He kept Final Fantasy IV in mind when working on Final Fantasy X. He was best known for his work on Front Mission 3 and Final Fantasy X. He has recently worked on Front Mission 4, which was released in North America in June 2004.
