Torre Gran Costanera is a 300 metre tall highrise building, which is since 2006 under construction in Santiago, Chile. Torre Gran Costanera will be, when completed have 60 floors with a roof to roof height of 4.10 metres. Torre Gran Costanera was designed by the Argentinian architects Cesar Pelli Clarke and associated, Chilenian architects Alemparte Barreda y Asociados and by the Canadian company Watt International. Structural engineering is performed by Chilenian company René Lagos y Asociados Ing. Civiles Ltda. Torre Gran Costanera will be when completed in 2009 the tallest office building of South America and a part of one of Costanera Center, a huge complex which will consist of a 5 store mall, two hotels and two further 2 offices towers of 41 floors.
