Torre Colpatria (Colpatria Tower), a 50-story building located in Bogotá is the tallest in Colombia. It was constructed in 1978, and 196 meters high.

On weekends and holidays, the top floor is open to visitors, where a cafeteria and a viewpoint are located. It is located at the intersection of 26th street and 7th avenue.

The Colpatria Tower will be surpassed by a new 90-story building being built in Cartagena Colombia.

Colombia lies in the pacific ring of fire and avoids the construction of high buildings because of this reason.
