Torre Central

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Torre Central or Central Tower in English, is an approved supertall skyscraper ready for construction in Panama City, Panama. Like its name states, the tower is in the middle of the three tower complex Los Faros de Panamá, or The Lighthouses of Panama. The tower will be the tallest of the three, rising to 346 meters and 84 floors from a common podium with the other two towers. All three buildings of the complex will be completed in 2010. Two simliar, smaller towers, Torre Oeste (West Tower) on the west and Torre Este (East Tower) on the east will accompany the Torre Central. Despite being small compared to the Torre Central, the East and West Tower still will be 290 m tall and have 73 floors. Once completed, the three buildings will be the tallest in Central America.
