A Montreal indie band and instrumental trio established in 2001. Torngat's popularity increased with the 2005 release of their EP La Rouge. During the spring of 2006 and after increasing demand, Torngat toured Eastern Canada. Torngat recently recorded a full-length album which is slated for release in the spring of 2007.
- Pietro Amato - french horn (and electronics, percussion,melodeon)
- Mathieu Charbonneau - Wurlitzer (and Analog Synth, Hammond, percussion, melodeon).
- Julien Poissant - percussion (and Wurlitzer, trumpet, melodeon)
Extremely versatile, all members interchange instruments throughout their shows.
