Torben Giehler

Torben Giehler (born 1973 in Bad Oeynhausen, Germany) is a painter based in New York City. He graduated with a Diploma and Fifth Year Certificate from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston in 1999.
His work has been widely exhibited in many prominent galleries and museums around the world, including the Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg [1] and Wilhelm-Hack-Museum Ludwigshafen [2] in Germany, the Centro de Arte Salamanca in Spain as well as the Cleveland Museum of Art, PS 1 [3], New Orleans Museum of Art [4] and the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. In 2005, Giehler was included in the Prague Biennale 2 [5].
He is represented by Leo Koenig Inc., New York.
