[edit] Request for edit summary

Hi. I am a bot, and I am writing to you with a request. I would like to ask you, if possible, to use edit summaries a bit more often when you contribute. The reason an edit summary is important is because it allows your fellow contributors to understand what you changed; you can think of it as the "Subject:" line in an email. For your information, your current edit summary usage is 0% for major edits and 100% for minor edits. (Based on the last 150 major and 1 minor edits in the article namespace.)

This is just a suggestion, and I hope that I did not appear impolite. You do not need to reply to this message, but if you would like to give me feedback, you can do so at the feedback page. Thank you, and happy edits, Mathbot 05:30, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and has been reverted or removed by an automated bot. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks. If you feel you have received this notice in error, please contact the bot owner // Tawkerbot2 19:52, 20 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] My Boo

I deleted My Boo (Ghost Town DJ's song) because when you created it, you didn't mention in the edit summary that the material was taken from the My Boo article and so it qualified as a copyright violation. When you copy or cut material from one Wikipedia article into another, please always mention in the edit summary the article you got it from so that the original contributors to it are properly credited. For example, you could say in the edit summary "create article - material taken from [[My Boo]]". Thanks. Extraordinary Machine 22:57, 15 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Walk with Me

Thank you for your contributions to Walk with Me. Some edits have been made to the article in order to bring it into harmony with Wikipedia's Manual of Style. Please familiarize yourself with the guidelines shown there. All edits that do not follow these guidelines have been changed to match what our MoS recommends. Wikipedia does not require writers to follow all or any of these rules, but their efforts will be more appreciated when they do so. Extraordinary Machine 13:38, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] A note about linking

Hello! I am a member of the Wikipedia project for disambiguating links. Links in music articles are big culprits of creating ambiguous links so I wanted to pass along some tips to help you with your contributions:

Please contact me if you have any questions. Cheers. Dina 14:58, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
