Topliţa (Hungarian: Maroshévíz, German: Töplitz) is a city in Harghita County, Romania. The name is of Slavic origin, meaning "hot water spring".

In Ancient Times it was a Dacian City called Sangidava.

The city has an ethnically mixed population. According to the 2002 census the city has a population of 15,880 of which 11,291 (71,1%) are Romanians, 4,039 (25,4%) are Székely Hungarians and 486 (3.1%) are Roma.
