Top Gear 2 was the sequel to the 1992 video game Top Gear for the Super NES. A version was also made for the Sega Mega Drive, and the Amiga platform.

In its sequel, the game became more realistic, with a damage bar in the left side of the screen, slower cars, and the possibility of upgrading the machine. The car becames more difficult to handle and the opponents are faster and tougher than the previous game. The wheather also interfers in the track, making the cars go to race with dry or wet tires. The nitroes are still available but are in greater number, 5.

Top Gear 2 have more elaborated graphics than the previous game. the cars are more detailed and the enviroment also. the wheather effects are realistic, considering the period of the game releasing.
