Tony Ryall is a New Zealand politician. He is a member of the National Party. He was first elected to Parliament as MP for East Cape in the 1990 elections aged 26. Subsequent boundary changes saw him represent Eastern Bay of Plenty electorate (1993-96) and Bay of Plenty electorate (1996- ). He has served in Cabinet as, among other things, Minister for State-Owned Enterprises, Minister of Local Government, Minister of Youth Affairs, and Minister of Justice. Before entering politics, he was a credit analyst at a bank.
In the 2005 General Election he holds the largest National Party electorate majority in the country. His Bay of Plenty Electorate was held with a majority of approximately 15,800 votes.
Tony Ryall lives in Tauranga with his wife Kara, and children Maisie (8) and Llewellyn (5). He is currently National Party spokesman on Health.
