Tony Roma's is a casual dining chain restaurant specializing in barbecued ribs. The first location was established in 1972 in North Miami, Florida, by the eponymous founder, and today there are roughly 260 locations in 27 countries.
Tony Roma's slogan is "Famoso por Costillas", "Fameux pour cõtes levés" or Famous for Ribs!.
According to the company's website, Roma's decision to include Baby Back Ribs on the menu was a spontaneous one. The dish was quickly successful and became one of the chain's signature offerings. Today the company claims that Roma is considered the "pioneer of Baby Back Ribs." Tony Roma's barbeque sauce is also available in supermarkets.

A number of Tony Roma's have the ability to have take-out orders and not just dine-in. Roma's also offer diners promotions such as "Tony Roma’s Privilege Loyalty" Cards which offer discounts and special offers. In the US, they have "Roma Rib Expert Club" where members obtain special offers, news and promotions.
