Tony Payne is the Publishing Director of Matthias Media. He trained for ministry through the Ministry Training Strategy, and in 1988 began work as Matthias Media’s first editor. He has completed a degree in theology at Moore Theological College.

Tony is the author of several popular books, including "Guidance and the Voice of God", "Pure Sex", "Islam in our Backyard". "Fatherhood", and "Prayer and the Voice of God".
