Tony Parkes, born May 5, 1949 in Sheffield, England is the former assistant manager of Blackburn Rovers Football Club. Parkes regularly stood in as caretaker manager for the club, taking over from Bobby Saxton, Don Mackay, Ray Harford, Roy Hodgson, Brian Kidd and Graeme Souness.
Parkes is currently assistant manager to Simon Grayson at Blackpool, having left Rovers following Mark Hughes' decision to bring in his own backroom team. His son who is also at Blackpool with the youth team, Alex Smith.
Parkes was also a player for Blackburn for many years in a midfield position.
