(Anthony) Tony O'Sullivan is a former Irish sportsman who played hurling with Cork in the 1980s. He played his club hurling for Na Piarsaigh.

Tony O'Sullivan was one of the great players to play for Cork during the 1980s. He first came to prominence in 1979 when he won an All-Ireland Minor title with Cork. Three years later in 1982 he claimed a second All-Ireland medal, when Cork won the Under-21 Championship. His skill was quickly noted and he soon made it onto the senior hurling side. 1982 saw O'Sullivan win his first Munster Senior Championship medal, with two more to follow in 1983 and 1984 when he came on as a substitute in both games. 1984 also saw O'Sullivan win his first Senior All-Ireland medal. Further Munster medals came in 1985 and 1986, with O'Sullivan also claiming a second All-Ireland medal in the latter year. 1990 was a good year for O'Sullivan. He won yet another Munster medal, a third All-Ireland title and was also named Texaco Hurler of the Year. In 1992 O'Sullivan won his seventh and final Munster medal, before finishing off his career with a National Hurling League title in 1993.
