Tony Hernando is a Spanish guitar player.
Tony Hernando was born and grew up in Salamanca,Spain.His first contact with music was at the Superior Conservatory of music in his hometown when he was 9 years old, studying music, theory, singing and classical guitar for about 8 years. after a few years playing electric guitar selftaughing through songs from Iron Maiden,Ozzy,Satriani, Yngwie ,etc,...he starts teaching privately while also attends IMT school in Madrid, where he meets some great fusion and jazz teachers who introduce him to that genre of music. After two years, he finally "goes Hollywood" for studying at Musicians Institute's G.I.T., where Brett Garsed,Scott Henderson, Dan Gilbert,Paul Hanson were his teachers among others.
