Tony G (producer)

Tony G is a Cuban-American hip hop producer whose family hails from Havana, Cuba. He grew up in Porchester, New York, and relocated to Los Angeles around 1978. The most popular tracks he ever produced are probably "La Raza" by Kid Frost and "Mentirosa" by Mellow Man Ace. According to Mellow Man Ace, Tony G encouraged him to rap the way many Mexican-Americans speak, bilingually. "La Raza" was also a bilingual track and both songs proved influential for Latino rappers around the world.
