Tony Fitzpatrick was born Dublin, Ireland on 23 October 1956.

Fitzpatrick has been responsible for or involved in advising a number of the major broadcast channel launches in Europe over the past two decades. From the launch of CNN International across Europe to his most recent advisory roles with a series of digital media initiatives, Fitzpatrick has worked across a range of TV and radio platforms advising, amongst others: - BSkyB, UKTV, BBC, Channel 4, ITV and Al Jazeera International the UK launches of Kiss FM and Jazz FM.
Fitzpatrick started his marketing career with Saatchi & Saatchi progressing to be European Managing Director of Rogers & Cowan International. He latterly formed his own production to marketing services group – the Entertainment Partnership, selling his share of that business in December 1995.
He then created an internet based news delivery business which, in 1999 became the Health Media Group. The company successfully floated on the Alternative Investment Market in 2001 with a value of £40 million. He left the company in 2002, retaining his shareholding and returning to the TFA Group full time.
