"Tonite Reprise" is a b-side off the Tonight, Tonight CD single by The Smashing Pumpkins and a song off the vinyl release of Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness album. It's a re-arranged stripped-down acoustic version of the hit Tonight, Tonight and features only band's frontman Billy Corgan's singing and guitar playing.
Though built on the same melodies and chords, it differs from original version: lacks the first verse, and has an additional one, not to mention changed choruses structure. It was recorded after Billy's coming back from the Chicago Bulls game, when they lost to the Orlando Magic in play-offs. Billy sings in a hoarse voice due to his shouting on the match. It was recorded in just one take, Billy using his famous Gibson acoustic guitar with rusty strings.
The song was released on a stand-alone single, on a vinyl release of an album, and was also included in "The Aeroplane Flies High" box-set.
