Toni Arthur

Toni Arthur-Hay (born 26 December 1941) is an English director, former folk singer and television presenter.

Arthur-Hay was born in Oxford, England and is most popularly remembered as one of the presenters of the children's programmes Play School and Play Away alongside Brian Cant.

She was married to the singer and storyteller Dave Arthur. Together they released several folk music albums in the late 1960s and early 1970s.

In 2003 she directed a comedy based on the life of Graham Chapman entitled A Very Naughty Boy, which won a Fringe First prize at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Her partner is a Time Out Magazine comedy critic Malcolm Hay.
