Tondela (pron. IPA: [tõ'dɛlɐ]) is a municipality in Portugal with a total area of 371.2 km² and a total population of 31,026 inhabitants.

The municipality is composed of 26 parishes and is located in the district Viseu.

The present mayor is Carlos Manuel Marta Gonçalves, elected by the Social Democratic Party.

The municipal holiday is September 16.
