[edit] Ephebophilia
Hi there
I noticed your adding of the word ephebophilia to pedophilia. I am a Brit and in this country the word ephebophilia does not exist as a proper word (see Oxford English Dictionary etc.). Even in the USA, it is a word seldom used (Google 45,000 hits vs 2,500,000 for pedophilia). The word paedophilia is used by most people (John Doe, law enforcement, all media folk) to cover sexual attraction to pre-pubescent, pubescent and post-pubescent children. It's not a crime of course. I don't believe your edit really improves the article. I originally had pedophilia without the child sexual abuse, but some other Wiki guy added the child sexual abuse to the title. It's not really needed either, as pedophilia covers relationships where there is no abuse of any kind as well as abusive activity. I realise Wikipedia is a free world, but I would prefer to revert if that's Ok with you. p.s. I've invested many man hours in this article and trying to keep a neutral POV! [edit] 3RR
Tomyumgoong, you've just violated the three revert rule on Mutilation. In brief, you may not revert changes to an article more than three times in 24 hours, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. These are your reverts today:
21:37, August 15, 2006 21:34, August 15, 2006 19:00, August 15, 2006 18:41, August 15, 2006
I suggest that you revert your most recent change (self-reverts are ok). I am happy not to report the violation if you undo it. Jakew 20:50, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
- Please look at the above links. These were not 'substantial edits'. In fact, the newer version was identical to your previous version. That is a pure revert. Jakew 21:01, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Talk page templates
Please don't remove official talk page templates, like notices of previous AfDs. They are there to inform editors. -Will Beback 21:17, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
Also, please don't remove warnings from your talk page. -Will Beback 21:34, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Blocked for 3RR
You have been temporarily blocked for violation of the three-revert rule. Please feel free to return after the block expires, but also please make an effort to discuss your changes further in the future. |
