Hello, Wikipedians!! I currently live in the United States in Greenville, SC. I am a novice Wikipedian and plan to contribute articles, as I gain experience with Wiki markup language. I was born in Wilson, NC, North Carolina, but have also lived in Nassawodox,Virginia, Charlotte, North Carolina, San Jose, Costa Rica, Neuquen, Argentina, and Buenos Aires, Argentina. As a result of growing up in Latin America, I am fluent in Spanish. I also studied German in High School, Associacion Escuelas Lincoln, in Buenos Aires and at Furman University, in Greenville, SC. I have a "P.H.T." (Put Her Trough - ha!) from Clemson University, so I feel a close association with the college and its athletic teams. Finally, I have an A.S. Degree from Greenville Technical College in Computer Electronics, which also included instruction in assembly language and Basic programming language. I have been working in the Information Technology division, at Greenville Tech since 1984. I am manger of a department, which is responsible for hardware, software, network and telephone technical support services --in addition to serving as the Helpdesk Administrator. As far as programming experience goes, I wrote a service tracking and inventory application in dBASE, in the 1980's. Regarding hobbies and leisure, I enjoy Gardening, Genealogy, Music, and History. In November 2005, I became interested in contributing articles in Wikipedia.
I enjoy helping people, hence the attraction to customer service. As a result of growing up in the United States, Central America and South America, I am open and respectful of every culture, religion, philosophy, or belief system. I totally agree wih the Neutral Point of View NPOV policy, as well as the mission and goals of Wikipedia.

So far, I have been performing minor edits and corrections on existing articles. I am also planning to translate articles from English into Spanish and visa versa.
