Thomas "Tommy" Wright (born 28 September 1984 in Leicester, England) is an English footballer who currently plays for Barnsley. He had previously played for Leicester City, his homewtown club and Brentford on loan.

He represented England u20 at the 2003 FIFA World Youth Championship.

He is not to be confused with Tommy E. Wright, who previously played for Leicester City.

He has yet to establish himself at Oakwell having only scored 1 goal so far this season and has just been sent out on loan to Walsall with a view to gaining first team football.

Despite the fact he only managed a handful of games at Leicester he was a fans favourite due him being a local lad. Whilst Micky Adams was in charge he's parents once came to the club to see Adams and demanded there son be given first team football. This never happened and he moved on not long afterwards.
