Tommy Armour III (born October 8, 1959) is a professional golfer on the PGA Tour. He first joined the PGA Tour in 1981 at the age of 21. He is considered to be one of the best putters on Tour, and as of May 1, 2006, he is the best ranked putter on Tour. He has two career PGA Tour victories, winning the 1990 Phoenix Open and the 2003 Valero Texas Open. He currently holds the scoring record for best overall score on 72 holes (254), which he set during his victory in 2003. He also won the 1983 Mexican Open. He is the grandson of Tommy Armour.
