His stay at Dean Court was to be a short one, as in November the same year he moved to Queen's Park Rangers after only 5 league games (in which he scored once) for the Cherries. He scored 3 times in 10 league games for Rangers, before moving on again, this time to Torquay United in July 1959. He stayed for a full season at Plainmoor, though played in only 9 league games, scoring 4 times, his debut coming on the first day of the season (22nd August 1959) in a 2-1 home win against Doncaster Rovers. In June 1960 he moved to Stockport County on a free transfer, where he was to play more regularly, totally 60 league games and 17 goals for the Edgeley Park side. In November 1961 he moved to Doncaster Rovers, where he was to score 3 times in 16 league games before another swift move, this time to Wrexham in March 1962 for a fee of £3,000. After 12 league games for Wrexham (3 goals), he moved to Australia, playing for Hellas before returning to England on joining Barrow on a free transfer in December 1963. After only 11 league games he returned to Australia, and was again playing for Hellas when he returned to play for Watford in December 1964, again on a free transfer. He played 21 league games, scoring twice for the Hornets, before once more returning to Australia. In July 1967, Leyton Orient signed him from St. George Cross F.C. in what was to be his final spell in English professional football. He eventually settled in Australia, where he worked as a journalist and had his own radio programme.
