Tomioka (富岡市; -shi) is a city located in Gunma, Japan.

As of March 1, 2006, the city had an estimated population of 54,465. The total area is 122.90km².

The city was founded on April 1, 1954. On March 27, 2006, it merged with neighboring Myogi Town to form the new city of Tomioka.
