tomandandy is a musical group, founded in the late 80's in NYC by Thomas Hajdu and Andy Milburn, chiefly known for their work in film scores and television commercials. tomandandy had offices in NYC and LA and employed almost 100 full time employees. tomandandy have provided original music for The Rules of Attraction, Killing Zoe, Arlington Road, Waking the Dead, The Mothman Prophecies, Mean Creek, The Covenant and The Hills Have Eyes. The group is notable in their later film work for a melding of electronic instruments with the traditional western symphonic orchestra. tomandandy has also composed and produced music recordings with William Burroughs, Laurie Anderson, Lou Reed, David Byrne, Starn Brothers, Tom Sachs, Jenny Holzer, and La Fura dels Baus. Film scores in 2007 include Right At Your Door and P2.

In addition to music composition and production, tomandandy have a history of software development, principally in musical artificial intelligence and hold a broad US patent (#6,051,770, see below) in the field.
