Thomas "Tom" J. Rielly is the Iowa State Senator from the 38th District. He has served in the Iowa Senate since 2004.

Rielly currently serves on several committees in the Iowa Senate - the Agriculture committee; the Commerce committee; the Economic Growth committee; and the Local Government committee.

Rielly was elected in 2004 with 14,679 votes, defeating Republican opponent Neal Schuerer. [1]
