Tom Pym (Born March 20, 1990) in Shrewsbury, Is one of the UK's most successful young chess players. He has been British Champion at Under 10, 12 and 13, as well as the 2003 and 2005 Ampleforth Junior Masters Champion. [1][2] He is currently a student at Adams' Grammar School in Newport, Shropshire, which is well known for producing excellent young chess players, and studies chess with Ryan Palmer. He is also interested in Rugby, antique coins and designing waistcoats.
