Tom Meighan

Tom Meighan was born on 11th January 1981 and is the lead singer for the British Leicester based alternative band Kasabian.

He was born in Leicester. He was responsible for singing lead vocals on most of the tracks on the band's two albums, but did not write any of the songs himself.

He played for the Nottingham Forest youth team in his early teens, but chose rock n' roll instead of football, he revealed in an interview with Nottingham's local newspaper Nottingham Evening Post. He also stated that he used to wear his Leicester City FC socks under the Forest ones as he is a big fan of Leicester City Football Club.

He lives in Leicester with his dog dog called Tartis.
