Tom McSorley

Tom McSorley, born Thomas McSorley, is a prominent figure in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, where he plays a major role in the country's representation as a film-producing power.
One of the most important figures in contemporary Canadian film, McSorley is the executive director of the CFI, a division of Cinematheque Canada. He is also a film studies professor at Carleton University, typically specializing in Canadian film courses [citation needed]. He regularly appears on the popular CBC Radio program All In A Day, acting as a freelance theatre and film critic. He was also a contributing editor for Take One, a Canadian film magazine which recently saw its end after a lengthy twelve year run.
