Tom McGee(born in 1947) is a controverisal reporter and news anchor in Charleston, West Virginia.

Tom McGee had previously worked as an anchor at WCHS-TV from 1983 to 1993. He was charged with drunk driving in 1991, and WCHS didn't renew his contract. He faced similar charges in 1997 while working at WOWK-TV. WCHS hired him again in 2000, but another drunk driving charge in 2003 ended his tenure there.

Tom McGee is quite gift giving during his tenure at WOWK and WHCP (now WQCW) he held a yearly Toys for Tots campaign and other disaster relief campaigns too.

On November 7, 2006, McGee worked at WHCP for a 6 and 10 p.m. newscast. However, this would be brief as o February 21, 2006, Charleston police were called to the new WHCP studios in Charleston to escort McGee from the building. A dispute had broken out between him and station manager Chuck Jones. McGee left the building on his own (while yelling "I'm done. I'm outta here!") and stated that he was speaking up for station employees. The conflict was the station itself not living up to its promises. Two days later the newscast was cancelled.

Today Tom McGee works as a reporter for the Charleston Daily Mail writing a weekly article every Sunday in the newspaper. Currently, he is studying law at West Virginia University 1.
