Tom Kaulitz

Tom Kaulitz (born in Leipzig, Germany, on September 1st, 1989) is the guitarist of the German band Tokio Hotel. He was born ten minutes before his twin brother, Bill Kaulitz. He is a few centimeters shorter than his brother (179-182 cm tall).

Tom always has a saucy answer ready, but has also a genial disposition. His stepfather, who is a guitarist in a rock band himself, has a big influence on his music as well. He has always been in Bill's shadow, but lately he's seemed to gain more attention from fans. He enjoys the attention; and neither of the twins seem to mind sharing the spotlight.

Although they are twins, Tom and Bill Kaulitz are very different. When they were around seven years old, they started to change in their appearance. Bill went for the more rock like look, with the dyed black hair, tight jeans, big belts, painted nails, make up and jewelry. Tom went for the more rapper style look, with the baggy (very baggy!) jeans, baggy shirts, caps and hats and also dreadlocks. Tom has different taste in music. There may be rumours around saying different; but Tom Kaulitz is single. He says it himself: He doesn't have time for girlfriends.^{[citation needed]}
