Tom Hancock is the Iowa State Senator from the 16th District. He has served in the Iowa Senate since 2004. He is retired from the United States Postal Service.
Hancock currently serves on several committees in the Iowa Senate - the Agriculture committee; the Judiciary committee; the Natural Resources and Environment committee; and the State Government committee.
Hancock was elected in 2004 with 15,324 votes, defeating Republican opponent Julie Hosch. [1]
